About Anne
  • ​​I'm an accomplished British actress based in the D.C. Metro area specializing in audiobook narration. My parents came from the South of Ireland, and I grew up in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England.
​
  • ​I trained as a Registered Nurse, as a State-Certified Midwife, and was a Flight Attendant with Laker Airways. After extensive acting training, I leaped into audiobook narration and have never looked back.​ Former Registered Nurse trained in Dublin, Ireland, and as a State-Certified Midwife in Manchester, England. I've delivered over 100 babies and hundreds of audiobooks.

  • ​I love to narrate Historical Fiction, Historical Romance, Literary Fiction, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Cozy Mysteries,  YA, Children's Literature, Non- Fiction History, Medical and Wellness, Memoirs, Spirituality, Inspiration, and Self Development titles.

I am highly experienced in performing British accents, Scottish, Irish-North & South, Welsh, Australian, New Zealand, South African, Standard & Southern American, German, French & Italian. I'm proficient at sight reading and narrating "audiobook French" and am familiar with pronouncing many audiobook languages, including less commonly encountered languages such as Māori.

  • ​Visited Paris, France, and had fun practicing my French and ordering lots of delicious food. Traveled on to Cork, Ireland, and kissed the Blarney Stone. I now officially have the "Gift of Eloquence"!

  • Started using Duolingo to keep my French up to date, on August 1st, 2024.​​​
